WECS was founded in 1937; originally the company sold and repaired bicycles. This all changed with the outbreak of the Second World War when the company was requisitioned by the Government to manufacture components for the war effort. After the war WECS stayed with component manufacture and assemblies. Success demanded larger premises and in 1959 the company moved
to its current location in Epsom where it now occupies some 7000 sq ft of factory space.
WECS began investing in CNC technology some twenty years ago and now boasts a versatile range of some of the most modern
CNC turning and milling centres.
